Tantalus Worms infected this piece to the core. I used modern fillers to stabilize the exterior and interior and feature the wormworks. Numerous coats of lacquer gives the wood and wormworks the beautful distinctive depth. With thoughtful care this piece will live a much extended life and add much viewing pleasure.
